Generic Refund Policy
We offer repairs, replacements and accept refunds and exchanges.Shipping:

Shipping times mention on the website are Estimated Shipping time for every product, and collective Estimated Shipping Time of Cart is displayed on your Cart. These are Estimated Shipping Time within which the order is likely to be dispatched. Once the Order is dispatched, the shipment details generated will be shared. Transit times averages at 6-9 days from various shipping company, subjected to force majeure , daily route / connection availability or the service / delivery area location. Shipping / Dispatch is processed on completing the transaction of pending order amount payment, if any.

Some states in India such as Assam, Orissa and Uttarakhand required transit from the consignee ( customer ). However these rules do undergo changes from time to time depending on the categories of Trade such B2C which may further be segregated into online of offline trade. Following the set of rules may / may not differ from time to time. In such cases, if for any particular order / Shipment at any time / trade / nature transit form is called for, which are necessarily provided by the consignee ( customer ) for continuous transit of shipment.

Door Delivery

  • Free delivery is only applicable for the first attempt to deliver at your shipping address. If a customer misses this delivery, an extra visiting charge will be applicable for the second attempt.
  • In absence of a service lift, our delivery partner shall only make a delivery to the ground floor of your apartment. Extra charges applicable per floor on delivery to the customer’s floor (on request) in such cases. Thus the access to home for any given product / order needs to be provided by customer / consignee for delivery.
  • Extra charges applicable for weekend or time-specific delivery.
  • Your product(s) will be held for 10 days at the nearest delivery hub if you’ve failed to receive the delivery. After this, Shivam Furniture shall be free to charge or cancel the order.


Returns / Refunds
Returns available for damage, defect or deviation. Any issues with the product have to be reported within 24 hours of receipt of products, with supporting pictures, to support@shivamwood.in. If 24 hours have gone by since delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

In case of any Damage, defect, our liability is limited to the cost of furniture paid by the customer.

Refunds are processed Online. Generally processed within 7 days of approved refund.

The order where, delivery of goods is pending for any reason arising of out from customers end will be treated and fulfilled and will not be eligible for any form of returns or replacement.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Several types of conditions are exempt from being returned. Such as wear & tear of normal use.

Additional non-returnable items:
Seats, Covers and cushions.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer until asked to do so by the seller. 
If the items is required to sent back, it has to be sent back by the same shipping company it was received from and the charges for sending the item will be borne by the sender (customer). However in certain cases such as sending back damaged material, no charges will be borne by the customer (Sender). The charges for sending the new replacement piece will be borne by us.For any returns without notice to / confirmation of the shipper / seller , tax @ 14.5 is deductible.There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your report/email is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your problem notification. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Refunds not applicable where repairs is excerciseable or advised. Refund only issued if the item received catches termite. Proof of termite existence needs to be provide by the customer with formal reports from an accredited agency.

Exchanges / Changes (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@shivamwood.in

Cancellation:

Since the products are made according to your order, and we have to maintain the fastest shipping time, Order once placed can only be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order or before the order is put in production, whichever is earlier. Orders placed under any /all Special Sales or Specific Occassion Sales defined by an event / date or occasion for specified/limited time period are not eligible for cancellation.

Cancellation Charges ( Applicable on un-fulfilled order, for cancellation eligible order as stated above ):

Cancellation charges of 4.5% of the order value is applicable subjected to a minimum of 1000 Rs. . These charges are waived off on Store Credit based cancellations.
Cancellation charges for fulfilled orders are on order basis and thus will be apportioned as per the prevailing situations and status of the order.

Change:

Order can be changed in 12 hours the order, after which a Change Free of 10% is applicable , subjected to a minimum of Rs 1000.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, no return or refund applicable.

Change:

Order can be changed in 12 hours the order, after which a minimum of Rs 1000 as Change fee is applicable.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, no return or refund applicable.

Customization:

Any requested change of whatever nature, big or small, shape size, usage, addition, deletion, specification in the product, compared to our standard offering will make the product a “Customized Product”. Being customized in nature the manufacturer may make necessary structural or technical alteration in the product in the best possible manner as may deem fit from the manufacturing point of view, without any prior notice. No returns applicable on customized products.

OCTROI
Octroi ( which is neither VAT nor Shipping Charges and is like an entry tax ) wherever applicable ( such as Mumbai & Jammu ) is payable by the customer at the time of delivery.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Once the product sent by you is received by us, the new one is dispatched asap and tracking details are provided. Depending on where you live, the time it may take upto 4 weeks for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

You should consider using a trackeable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for return items. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Lifetime Warranty for Termite resistance, is served with replacement. Thus, if the product catches termite, it’ll be still be replaced from our side. The shipping costs is borne by the party who bears the shipping cost of the Original Order. 

Damage in transit will be replaced from our side. The shipping costs is borne by the party who bears the shipping cost of the Original Order.
